The Post Star gave D.E.C. a Boo due to costing Thurman more money. See the link below and you decide if it is in fact D.E.C. that is costing Thurman more money, or perhaps its something else.

D.E.C., Board Meetings and Audios
Below you will find two links, the first is a link to a video of the Thurman Board Meeting. I have started it for you where the conversation begins regarding the Salt Project. The second is a link to an audio recording of Mr. Mt.Pleasant responding to what was stated at that board meeting.
At 39:59 Councilman Eddy addresses the board to ask Councilman Youngblood a question pertaining to the salt project. Youngblood is the liaison to the Highway department appointed to him by the supervisor at the January organizational meeting. However, Youngblood is not allowed to respond and the supervisor speaks for him.
Note, at (apprx) 40:40 Supervisor Wood states D.E.C. was on site that day and was very happy.

The Center Candidate
Recently I have been questioned numerous times by an individual who wishes to hide behind screen names such as 'Landowner' and 'Other Viewpoints' stating things like the following 'Capital letters, exclamation points and the chant of “I tell the truth” is the common trait of a supporter of Mike Eddy and his comrades Cynthia Hyde and Kathy Templeton' and 'Recently, Kathy Templeton was seen at a public meeting with the Eddy's where she asked questions....'
It is my opinion that these such shenanigans are an attempt to make you believe falsehoods about me. Let me set the record straight. I have been seen in the company of many people in this town and many surrounding towns as well. I have been seen at Cub Scout Committee Meetings where I hold the Advancement Chair, Cub Scout meetings where I am a Den Leader, Democratic Committee Meetings where I am the Chairwoman of our town committee, the Board of Assessment Review where I am the Chairwoman of that committee... I could go on if you'd like, but I think you get the picture.
Was I at that "public meeting" with the Eddy's, well, you could say yes. I should point out though, that also in attendance at that meeting was Susan Shepler and Council Member John "Jey" Youngblood. So, you could say that I was there with them as well.
This meeting was not within our town, though. It was held at Bolton town hall where Bob Freeman held a seminar about Open Meetings Law and Freedom of Information Law also known as FOIL. Did I ask questions? I most certainly did. What you might choose to question is whether or not your current board members asked any, and the answer to that I'm afraid is, "No".
What you get if you choose me this November is a board member who will ask questions and get answers. A board member who will listen to your concerns and bring them back to the board meetings. A board member who will research the issues in this town and reply with an answer. And finally, a board member who will work to reinstate your privilege to be able to speak and get answers at town board meetings.

I am the Candidate in the Center, I will listen to you and answer to everyone!
Journal Entries and Balance Sheets
A little over a month ago I requested copies of the Journal Entries, Ledger, and Balance sheets from 2010 to present via FOIL. I have been assured the remainder of the FOIL will be completed just as soon as possible and as soon as it is I will share that too.
More on Whitespace
Does Whitespace really need to be reconfigured or is our board being fed misinformation by a group that is looking to profit from our misfortunes?

Hi Carl,
Please note that the attached statement from your job estimate of August 8 2016 is not accurate, and has been published as truth in official Town records. Many people consider this libel as it damages my reputation, as had previous published statements by the Town.
Unless something was changed since the Supervisor unilaterally assumed management of the network by claiming all subscriber revenue, all equipment in the entire network can be accessed from the designated switch ports at each and every pole.
It would be best if you send a letter to the Town, including all board members and the clerk, indicating that all equipment can be accessed from the designated switch ports at each and every pole; and request that the letter be read into the minutes. No reconfiguration is necessary for local access; only for remote VPN access.
I have previously stated this in court under oath as it is the truth, and had offered to prove it to the court on site. I can tell you and Dave how to do it, or you can just use the info I provided to the Town in my email of 17 May 2016, also attached.
Thanks,
Fred

You ask questions, I get answers
Some folks have asked me to research the validity of a new blog's posts: specifically the expenses the board incurred during the New York City training trip. The blog in question is stating that the board members spent just a little under $1500.00 for the entire trip, that, my friends is not accurate at all, but don't take my word for it, go ahead and click on the links and find out for yourself.
2016 Annual Training School
- Meals--------------------------------------------------> $ 426.81
- Seaman-----> $372/night plus tax and porter fees 1300.24
- Shepler------> $322/night plus tax and porter fees 984.22
- Wood--------> $522/night plus tax and porter fees 1628.82
- Wood's room service---------------------------------> 44.60
Not $1500.00 as you have been told, but in fact $2884.69 more than that.
And unlike some of the other sites that say they are telling you the truth with no documentation, I have the documentation for you to look at yourself. Proving once again that you can't '...just say whatever...'
